“Lathered up brilliantly, giving a rich, creamy foam to wash hair with. Washed away easily and left hair feeling clean and refreshed; my scalp felt good too, with no dryness or itchiness which can happen if a shampoo is too drying. Often solid shampoos can leave an almost waxy feeling when you start using a new one, but that didn’t happen with the TLC bar. I have thoroughly enjoyed testing this: it leaves hair feeling in great condition after every wash, as well as my scalp. The bar dries out well between uses, not going soggy like some other solid shampoos can. I’ve actually looked forward to washing my hair because this bar makes my hair and scalp feel so good! I’ve noticed that my scalp is significantly less dry and itchy and there are no flakes. Says it is formulated to offer gentle cleansing, to nourish, condition and strengthen hair and to revive the scalp: delivered on all of these promises. It’s excellent. I really like the addition of apple cider vinegar as an ingredient. I was actually considering adding “ACV rinses” to help my scalp but now I don’t need to!”
“Very chunky bar! Love the brand stamping on it. I adore solid shampoo bars but they’re often hit and miss so I was excited to try a new one. Easy to lather, kept its shape, I didn’t need to use a lot. And the main thing is the end result — perfect! My hair felt clean, looked clean and shiny, and wasn’t too tangled. Very pleased, especially as some bar shampoos can feel drying, or leave your hair looking peculiarly greasy afterwards. A+ ingredients here, as there was none of that. It’s now a shower staple! I love it. Labelling is clear and good. The packaging is detailed but not cluttered, and to the point. Great value for money and a class act — in appearance and in performance.”

“I was excited when I first saw the conditioner as finding hair products without fragrance is hard. Has a thick texture without being too rich and heavy. Every time I used it I saw fewer flakes, less redness, irritation and itchiness. My hair was conditioned without feeling heavy and greasy, and I felt like I could go longer without washing my hair. After a month my scalp has pretty much completely cleared, it’s much less itchy and irritated, there is much less redness and hardly any flakes now which is a major confidence boost for me. My hair is more manageable, less knotty, more shiny and healthier looking, my hair colour looked brighter, and it’s easier to style and brush and has a lot less product build-up. I’d like a bigger tube because I love the conditioner so much!”

“I am very impressed. Best conditioner bar I’ve used, ever. Previous ones have been too ‘hard’ — so tricky to get enough product onto the hair. This gets the tangles out nicely for drying, it lasts, it’s super easy to go onto the hair and it smells like a dream. It feels moisturising to the touch so it’s doing my hair some goodness too! I really love using this. The main point is how concentrated it is, and it just means it’ll go the distance as well as being kind to hair, full of goodness and easy to use. Excellent hair maintenance for me (and husband who uses it too on his short hair!). I like the packaging and how simple it is: no zany promises, just a list of conscious and thoughtful reasons to buy this product, like the fact it’s palm free, environmentally friendly and saves so much plastic.”

“My daughter is struggling with greasy roots, and we were over the moon that this product cleansed her hair with absolutely no residue. This is the first natural product that we have ever found to do this! She usually complains that the back of her head still feels oily and limp so this was a revelation. Her hair is shiny and soft, definitely less knotty and most importantly not greasy! This product is a total winner: it ticks all the boxes and once we have used the bottle I will buy more. The product claims to gently remove product build up and excess oils whilst refreshing the scalp, extends the time in between washes and protect the scalp from environmental damage. I would say these claims are pretty robust. Her long thick hair hair looks and feels beautifully soft. It’s been a total success. An excellent product”

“I loved using this oil weekly and found my hair looked happy, healthy, conditioned and felt soft and nourished. I started to experiment with using it sparingly on the ends of my hair when damp to define curl and tame frizz, and found it very effective for this too. Did really well over the month as a ‘rescue’ deep hair treatment, and when used weekly it helped calm my scalp and stop flaking. At the end of the month’s testing, you can’t tell I’m a swimmer and I can wear my hair down confidently aware it looks healthy and happy with no snowy scalp flakes! My hair definitely looks stronger and healthier at the end of the month, it delivers better than my previous hair oil and is a joy to use. It also definitely calmed and prevented scale of my sensitive, psoriatic scalp. I’m impressed!”

“Love the informative packaging, with clear instructions, simple illustrations, including the one which shows that the bar is equivalent to using 500ml of conditioner and that makes me feel good about using it and saving the planet! It’s a smooth dome shape with a flat bottom which fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. Its shape makes it easy to glide over wet hair with no dragging. My fine hair felt perfectly conditioned but not heavy or overloaded. Helped improve my hair’s condition after swimming. Detangled my daughter’s hair without heaviness, leaving it silky and shiny. Also makes hair very easy to comb after rinsing. Amazing.”

“Coral pink in colour and has a delicious, sweet and fruity fragrance that reminds me of summer and sunshine. I found the shampoo bar surprisingly easy to use. The round shape fits nicely into my palms. The product foams nicely and massages into the roots really well. My hair is quite long and I found it quick and easy to work the shampoo into all of my hair. The product rinses out easily and it left my hair feeling soft and clean and glossy and smelling lovely. I am using this product alongside my usual conditioner and I have been really happy. It has kept its shape well and the fragrance is just as intense now as when I first opened it. “It’s got to be one of the most fabulous smelling products I’ve ever used — and it lingers for a while after washing, which is divine! I knew it can take a while to adjust to natural shampoos, but my hair did quickly get used to it and looked much better for using it — less heavy and weighed down from product build up. This seemed to balance my hair better than my normal shampoo too. My hair is bouncier, shinier and all round healthier than it was before, even though I dye it regularly. It didn’t really promise too much, other than it was suitable for all hair types. As someone who has mixed condition hair, I was surprised at how well it managed my hair. I have found my new favourite shampoo!”
